Section A: Irish Steel (IASF) Privacy Statement

Irish Steel collects personal information for use by staff and member volunteers to:

1) Distribute societal information
2) Promote programmes, services and member benefits
3) Solicit member views
4) Analyse demographic information on members
5) Facilitate networking
6) Harness member expertise


In the event that membership is not granted or renewed, all information is retained for one year. Members may also obtain their information directly from the Irish Steel National office. We do not sell our members list or provide access to any third-parties for financial gain.

Section B: Irish Steel (IASF) Membership Directory: Acceptable Use Policy

Irish Steel member contact information is for Irish Steel members' personal use only. As stated in Irish Steel's Acceptable Use Policy found on the Irish Steel Website, “The directory is for personal use only. Members are not [permitted] to use the directory for commercial purposes.” Irish Steel members found to be using the Irish Steel Membership Directory improperly will have their Irish Steel membership revoked.

Irish Steel members who would like to propose a special business/commercial offer for consideration as a Irish Steel member benefit are asked to send proposals to info@irishsteel.ie with the subject heading, " Irish Steel Member Benefit Proposal." Irish Steel cannot guarantee the approval of all proposals received, but we thank all those who submit a business / commercial offer(s) Irish Steel's consideration.


This is a Members Organisation and we rely on members input to succeed. We do ask that members express their concerns and advise as to where you (the member) see the organisation going.
